These leather rolls are made made in the USA from premium vegetable tanned leather. The leather is 6 oz. full grain cowhide, and has a full suede underside. This leather has been infused with oils, dyes, and waxes to not only give it the very rich color, but it also helps to soften the leather for a more pliable product.
This is a very nice leather for crafting, projects, tooling, or other leather work. It is a softened pliable leather, and is not hard or rigid like raw vegetable tanned leather. This makes it ideal for projects that need more flexible and pliable leather, such as pouches, straps, bags, handles, etc. Please see the photos above for some samples made from this type of leather. We carry it in black or brown.
This leather quickly develops a handsome patina from handling. This is also the same leather that we make some of our products from, such as our wallets, stone pouches, and document portfolios.
